Recycled for spring!

I picked up this adorable tray several years ago with a 50% off coupon at a local craft store.  I must admit, I thought it would be so easy to embellish and utilize. Honestly, everything I attempted to create looked to me like a project done in my children’s kindergarten classes.

Thanks to the new Occasions catalog from Stampin’Up, I was finally able to utilize this tray turning it into a designer piece.

This was quick and simple using the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.

i painted the unfinished tray with two coats of a good quality white paint. I then carefully cut the paper to fit the inside, adhered it with Modge Podge and sealed it with a waterproof glaze so that it can be used as a beverage tray on the deck this spring. It would also make a cute kitchen decor item.

give it a try. Submit pictures to me and I will feature your creations right here on this blog!
