Fun Fold Friday | My Stamping Spot

We created a fun card, quickly with some simple cuts!

Stamps: Spotlight on Nature and Wildflower Designs

Inks: Black Momento ink pad. Pool Party and Petunia Pop Blends

Card stock: Coastal Cabana cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. On the long side, first cut at 1″. Then, cut an additional 2″ off. Save the cut off pieces to be used in the fun fold.

Full of Life DSP cut to 2 3/8′ x 4 1/8″ and a piece cut to 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ and a third piece cut to 1 7/8″ x 4 1/8″

Basic white cut to 5/8″ x 4″ and a piece cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside liner

Accessories: Brass Butterflies, 24-26 In Color Shimmer gems

Assembly:

Fold the card base on the score line.
Adjere the laergest piece of DSP to the card front flap.
Stamps the floral image from the Wildflower stamp set to the 1 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of DSP. Adhere this to the 2″ piece of card base that has been cut off.
Adhere the narrow piece of cut DSP to the narrow strip of Coastal Cabana that was cut off the card base.
With the card front face up, line up the thin strip with the bottom of the card. Add glue to the top portion of the middle piece of card base/DSP and carefully adhere the bottom strip and card front flap together.
Line the card with the basic white piece of card stock. Adhere the narrow leftover strip of DSP to the very bottom of the inside of the card.
On scrap, stamp your butterfly image in Momento and color with Blends. Die cut or hand snip. Pop this up onto the card front with a dimensional.
Add butterflies and gems as desired.
