I unexpectedly ended up in urgent care early in the week, so all cards were completed on Thursday, instead of daily. Happy to report, I lived!! haha.
This class is so fun, using some simple fun fold designs. I really let the DSP and the Border dies do all the heavy lifting on these cards.
The first card of the day was my favorite. I can see making this card in various Designer Series Papers to change up the look.

Floral Delight DSP #164700 $12 cut to 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 (olive pattern) and a piece cut to 5 1/4″ x 3″ (floral) plus a piece of scrap to hand trim the flower
Old Olive Card stock cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White cut to 3 3/4 x 5 and a piece cut to 3″ x 3/4″

The second card of the class I struggled with a bit on the design. I knew I wanted the black with flowers as a complimentary to the Fresh Freesia, I was looking for a bold contrast. As much as I love the basic card design, I do feel that a little something could be added. I tried a strip of coordinating DSP, placing the label several ways and adding the stamped, hand trimmed leaves in various places, which you can see in the video. In the end, I settled on this design, but would welcome your changes to this card.

In my original version of this card that I made as my sample, I used Black Momento ink for the greeting. Spur of the moment while filming I changed to a softer ink color. Which do you prefer?
The fourth card made during class used a sheet of DSP that I have had trouble using up while designing cards. I could just never seem to find the right way to use it-until today! This card also uses the Wood Textured Specialty Paper and I love how you can see the grain in this photo!
