Tuesday Night Cards and free Bingo

Did you realize that the first Tuesday night of each month we gather to make 3 cards and play three free rounds of bingo with prizes? We do! And it has become quite popular!
I First started this as a way to gather people and offer a little fun during the ong boring days of COVID. Well, stampers so look forward to it, that I have continued the tradition for almost 4 years now. Sometimes I give away a package of gems, sometimes it is left over class packets that I have offered.

The cards are typically pretty simple, but I try to find new ways to use new products. Interested in joining us? Look for the below picture on the morning of the First Tuesday of every month over on my Facebook page. All the details will be posted on how to play that evening.

Last night I choose three very different stamp sets to play with. One was old, from the annual catalog, one was an Online Exclusive Stamp Set and one is coming tomorrow with the release of the Jan-April mini catalog.

The above Card is a small gift card enclosure.

Stamps: Blueberry Bunches

Inks: Black Momento and Pool Party Ink pads, Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce and Color Lifter Blends

Card stock: Thick Basic white cut to 6” x 3”, scored at 3”.
Glorious Gingham 6 x 6 DSP pack- the Blueberry Bushel piece
Basic white cut to 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”

Accessories: Jewel Rhinestone gems, blend brush, paper snips

I stamped the large image in Momento and then colored with the blends. I used the color lifter blend to pull a little color off the berries to reflect light shining on them. Next I used a blending brush to add a little Pool Party ink around the stamped image. I then stamped a greeting on scrap paper and hand trimmed.

My second card features some product coming tomorrow….

Stamps: Thoughtful Expressions

Inks: Black Momento

Card stock:Thick Basic White cut to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”.
Poetic Expressions DSP cut to 4” x 5 1/4”.
Lemon Lolly and white die cut to 3 x 3

Accessories: paper snips, Everyday Detail Dies, 23-25 In Color Twine

The coolest thing about this card, is that the white die cut frame I used is actually the negative from the circle I used in yesterdays card that I wrote about. The dies leave you with two Greta shapes to work with if you cut an intentional size and not just use scrap paper.

With this final card, I wanted to demonstrate the benefit of the new Glass Mat that will be available to stampers that join during Saleabration starting tomorrow. I was able to create this great reverse stamping technique, creating a water reflection.

Stamps: Grassy Grove

Inks: Early Espresso and Shaded Spruce Stampin’Writes, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Dlirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink pads

Card stock: Daffodil Delight cut to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”.
Basic white cut to 4” x 5 1/4”

Accessories: Blending Brushes and the Stampin Glass Mat Studio
