What a jar full of silliness it has been this week!

The Spotlight feature of the week was full of some challenging times trying to create a shaker card…..all week long! Now, I am not going to lie, by the time I finally had a finished product, I was not just pleased, but also a little relieved! I was starting to have some doubts in my ability to make this work.

You see, when I mentioned I was going to create a shaker card, I thought, “a jar-perfect to create a shake card with”. The one calculation I did not count on was the lid on the jar punch! It prevents you from just being able touch a jar from any piece of desired size card stock or die cut shape! That lid…who wants a random lid shape floating above your shaker?

In the end, I succeeded and was pleased overall with the cards. Furthermore, I came up with a fairly easy way to create this shaker with the help of our clear envelopes.

Like I said, I was starting to doubt myself (did you read the antics that went on in Tuesday morning post?).

Let me present to you the shaker cards:

The colorful birthday card in this picture is not the one I created live. The live version has colorful words 9stamped in the same colors that were used for the contents of the jars), which I personally like better. However, in the live version of this card, I did not space the jars correctly and the words are very squished at the bottom of the white layer.
