More Amber Autumn

Sometimes I see stamp sets and my brain spins in circles in all the ways I can use it. Other times I do not see the possibilities. The Amber Autumn Bundle was not one that jumped out at me as something that I HAD to have. If I am totally honest, I purchased the suite in the pre order, and it was included. I set it aside, not giving it any love or thought.

I polled Facebook friends and Amber Autumn was at the top of the list of what my stamping friends wanted to see. Was that because stampers loved this bundle? Or was it because there was not much out there in the endless platforms of the cyber world? I did not matter. They asked for it and I was going to deliver!

Much to my surprise, when I paired this bundle with other items from the suite, it was a quick and easy process!! Let me let you in on a little secret…..no matter what it looks like online, I typically am creating the cards I demonstrate within an hour of my being live. Yup, no big planning process. Actually, I have this big dream that I will create classes and keep them banked, waiting to just pull out and demo. Well, I did try this early on in my Spotlight inception, but life and work just get in the way. The more organized I get, the less prepared I seem to be! I think that is because I thrive on chaos. The minute I think I have a minute to spare, I find another project to take on. I have always worked best under pressure. My best inspirations come from pressure. I seem to be the most creative when I am on a time limit.

Well, all that said, yesterday’s happening derailed my day. So, I pulled out the bundle first thing this morning thinking I was in for a long day! Not only did I whip out four cards in record time, I also actually cut and prepped card kits to send out when the ordering dates have expired. THIS HAS BEEN MY DREAM! Has it happened? Once since January!!

So, my stamping friends, never judge a stamp set by its cover!

The simplicity of this card is so elegant. The image truly stands out when it is left colorless. I left the DSP serve as a colored frame for the simple image and greeting.
