Faith Collection

Well, if you do not know, let me tell you-I am the LEAST techie person you will ever meet! It is not for a lack of trying. In fact, I explore and try continually. Nope, it is all just counterintuitive to how my brain works! Google Docs—I do not touch them anymore. Joelle has spent so much time getting me organized as I have grown. If I try to alter one of the docs, I delete something, I move rows, I somehow, mess them up. After years of this, the new policy is: Kathy does not alter docs-period! Instead, I keep notes and send to Joelle! Yup, I am that pathetic! But it is okay. I believe that your biggest strength is knowing your faults. Then, you get someone to cover you…hahaha. Cue Joelle!

Now, I explain all this because this morning I planned a 9AM YouTube LIVE. I admit, it took me multiple tries to get live, but I did succeed. The recording and the projects went smashingly. The problem arose when I tried to edit the details of the video. While doing so (I am a multitasker), a video caught my eye in my account that was never completed. I decided, while working on the video that I had just recorded, to delete that other video. Can you guess what I did? Yup, I checked the little box on that other video and hit delete. What I didn’t realize is that the video I was working on, also had a check mark. Well, let me tell you, when YouTube says DELETE, it means DELETE. It does not go to a trash folder or a cue. Nope-it deletes, permanently! In short, do not be a multitasker! It will just cost you in the end!

So, here are the pretty cards I made during my short-lived YouTube LIVE this morning.

Faith Collection is a great bundle, not just for Easter, but also sympathy, First Communion and Confirmation. All the images have corresponding dies, which is great! The greetings are fabulous too.

Stamps: Faith Collection

Inks: Petal Pink

Card stock: Petal Pink cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and a piece for die cutting

Thoughtful Journey DSP cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and a piece for die cutting

12 x 12 Woodgrain Wonders DSP for die cutting

Basic White cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and scrap for punching

Accessories: Exacto knife, Arch Shape dies, Three Banner Punch, Opal Rounds Assortment, Faithful Collection Dies

*****I used the Exacto knife to cut along the “grass” on the Arch Shape die cut DSP layer so that I could insert the cross into the “ground”, so to speak.

Stamps: Faith Collection

Inks: Garden Green, Daffodil Delight stamp Pads, Momento Ink, Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends

Card stock: Thick White cut to 8 1.2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″

Daffodil Delight cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

12 x 12 Woodgrain Wonders DSP for die cutting

Basic White cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and a piece cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and extra for die cutting

Accessories: Stone & Vine Embossing Folder, Faithful Collection Dies, Stylish Shape dies, Blending brush, Opal Rounds Assortment, Everyday Arches Dies

**** I used the Daffodil Delight ink pad and a blending brush to very lightly add color to the 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer of white card stock. Then, I adhered it behind the arch die cut, embossed layer. I then stamp the Garden Green palms onto the layer.
