Happy Stampin’ Anniversary to me!

Yes, that’s right……I am coming up on my 10th Anniversay with Stampin’Up! This has been the MOST amazing journey! I have met wonderful stampers that I can truly say are my friends! All of them! Some have decided to join me by being a part of Team DSP and some come to classes, clubs and other events. I am so grateful to have each and every one of you in my life! You have made my life full!

In celebration, I am going to do a week of blog post ideas and giveaways! Lots of giveaways! And stay tuned for my actual anniversary, March 28th! That is the day to get in on lots of bonus items!

Todays inspiration for you uses the stamp set Peaceful Place. I love this set. It is so simple to use, especially if you love to color! One image.

  • Cut a piece of Whisper White Thick CS at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4”.

  • Cut a piece of Whisper white CS at 3” x 4”. Stamp the large image in StazOn black beauty no. Use colored pencils to color the image and then use a blender pen to soften the colors and give it the appearance of a watercolor painting.

  • Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow at 3 1/4” x 4 1/4”. Mount your image on top of this piece of CS. Add this to the card front with demensionals.

  • On scrap white CS, stamp the squirrel image in StazOn black. Again, use the colored pencils and the blender pen to add color. Use paper snip to carefully hand snip the image.
    Mount this on the card front with a demensional.

So so the teaser was, “ helps to make several cards”.
A random person will be selected tomorrow morning (Tuesday) to receive 10- 4” x 5 1/4” cut pieces of the beautiful Needlepoint DSP. In addition, you will receive two rolls of tha6 sold out SAB organdy ribbon in highland heather and grapefruit grove. They coordinate so well with the DSP. There is a pack of heart epoxy droplets! Do you recognize what they are all packaged in? Yup, that is a plastic folder that you receive your thinlit dies in. This is Patty Bennet idea! I have decorated this envelope with some of that Needlepoint DSP and the flowers stamped from First Frost stamp set.
Add 10 card bases and a greeting, and you have a nice way to package up cards for a gift! Enjoy!

Well, this is Paper Pumpkins 6th year Anniversary so it only seems fitting that I give away one of these Anniversay kits during my Anniversay celebration! This kit makes 8 cards and envelopes.
