The gift of time

Good morning,

I feel like I have to apologize as I have been unable to work for three weeks now. Some of you know, but for those of you that do not, my husband Larry, had a brain aneurysm three weeks ago. We have been very blessed and he is expected to recover fully, but it will take some time. We are very grateful that we live within an hour of the best hospitals in the world–in Boston. He spent three weeks at Beth Isreal.

Larry is home now, but I have fallen way behind. In between his doctor apptointments, physical therapy, etc, I will being playing catch up this week. Open orders will be placed and in before week’s end, I will be answering all those emails and working on my fall schedule- including rescheduling a few for this week. Please be patient, but do not be afraid to reach out if there is anything you need…..

Be on the lookout over the next few days for new class dates and exciting holiday gatherings.

Thanks again for your patience. Normally, I would be beside myself that I was so far behind, but the gift of time has been granted to my family and I am going to enjoy it rather then stress over the lack of it!

Hugs, Kathy

Early release

Here is my first creation using the stamp set Carols of Christmas. It is an early release and can be purchased starting today!!
This picture does not do this card justice– it is silver embossed with a sneak peek of this beautiful, silver edged ribbon coming this holiday season!

You can order this directly on my webpage or better yet, sign up for the Christmas Card Club and make this in August. It’s a great way to get a head start on your Holiday cards.

Hurry! A few spots left!

HURRY, it’s not too late! Only a few spots left-
Saturday, July 29th 1:00-5:00PM

Holiday snacks and refreshments will be served.
PLEASE RSVP no later than July 25th to reserve your spot. Class fee will include a Bonus Coupon for future Christmas Stamp A Stacks or Christmas Card Club.

I am sorry I do not have any great photos to post. I was so busy that I forgot to take some, but I am overwhelmed with the generosity of all who come out to support my Catalog with a Cause event. The amount of donations is incredible. There are boxes upon boxes upon bages of donations and envelopes full of cash and checks to be totaled.

I am sorry that it was standing room only, literally. When I do the next event of this type I will add an additional room to work in or choose a different venue.

I am so grateful that all of you are in my life! When I started this little venture several years ago, I had no idea the incredible people I would meet or the wonderful friendships I would forge. You all are the best part of what I do. So, I humbly say THANK YOU! We did a great thing last night!!

I would like to thank Christina Grover for her endless hours in helping to prep for this event. I could not have done it without you. I also want to thank Shannon Berube who came to support my event and wound up playing hostess all night serving up wine and passing yummy treats around. I love you!

I will post an update in the days to come with the totals, but in the meantime, does anyone have a UHaul I can borrow to get all this product to the food pantry and the pet shelter?

These ARE NOT real daisies. Aren’t they great? They are made with the new daisy punch found in the 2017-2018 annual catalog.

To make each one, I punched two daisies, attached them in the middle. I used a bone folder to curl the petals a bit and added a new glimmer dot. Then, they were attached to a wire and inserted into this green, leafy plant.

Actually, I really need to give the credit to my helper, Christina. I may have designed this bouquet, but Christina did all the leg work! Thank you!!

It is LIVE!!

You can see all the goodness in the new 2017-2018 catalog here:

This beautiful card uses the new stamp set Happy Birthday Georgeous along with the brand new Happy Birthday Thinlit Die on page77 of the new catalog. That’s right!!! That great big happy birthday greeting is a cut out!!

This card uses a few of the new In colors that will be on sale starting tomorrow: Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Powder Pink.
