How do you like these? Made with Candy Cane Lane DSP and filled with four Yankee candle tea lights….I made these for some upcoming craft fairs. How much would you pay for these…..thinking great teaches gifts, bus drivers, etc.

I found these on Pinterest somewhere, but unfortunately didn’t make note of the original creator. In fact, I barely jotted down directions…haha. Take a look at my notes:

I also used the new square layering framelits and the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and punch. By the way, those directions were on the back of my to do list, ugh!

OnStage Swap

So, I am getting ready to head off to OnStage (convention) with my team this weekend and I have been so busy with prepping classes and stamp a stacks that I almost forgot about making swaps!! Well, I pulled myself together this afternoon, designed, cut, stamped, colored and assembled 40 of these cards for the fun event. I wish I had time to do 100 or more, but I am grateful for the last minute inspiration and time 😉

It is hard to tell in this poorly lit photo, but the snow glistens with Wink of Stella. Obviously, this is a very quick card for me to be able to make 40 in about 3 hours (including design work!)

Ingrdients:

Stamp sets: Christmas Magic, Stitched with Cheer, Sheltering Tree and Christmas Magic.

Inks: Real Red, Soft Sky, Soft Suede, StazOn-Black stamp pads AND Real Red, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Marina Mist Stampin’ Writes

Accessories: Wink of Stella.

Let’s celebrate Worls Card Making Day together!

Stop in anytime from 10AM-5PM on this Saturday, October 1st. I will have card kits cut and ready to be stamped and assembled. Make one card, make 20 cards! You decide! Choose from the 12 sample cards and make as many or as few of each as you want. Stay one hour, stay all 7 hours!

Each card kit will cost you $1 each to make, roughly the cost of materials. Kits will not include envelopes, but I will have them on hand to purchase for 18 cents a piece, my cost. Please bring your own tape runner or I will have some on hand for you to purchase.

I will have hot/cold drinks and some yummy snacks.

Take a peek at the beautiful cards for you to choose from:image image image image

PLEASE RSVP if you will be stopping by. I do not need to know which kits you want to make–you can decide when you get here. I just would like a rough headcount to prepare kits and for how many snacks to prepare.

Swap

image

I meet with my downline Friday night and we are doing a card swap. Here is what I created. I can’t wait to see what everyone else designs as well!!

These cards were made with materials from the new holiday catalog.

The colors are always artichoke, old olive and real red. The DSP is from m the Warmth and Cheer DSP stack. I also added a bit 3/8″ ribbon and the new Mini Pinecones. This was a fun card to make! It is a 5″ x 5″ square.

We will also be learning several methods of sponging while creating this card:

And we are going to try out the new Stitched with Cheer card kit in the holiday catalog (pg 34).

We try to meet at least once a month, although it really seems to be every other month 🙂  We share dinner, laughs and experiences while we learn and create?

Would you be interested in joining my team? It is a fun way to earn a little pocket cash, but it is also great if you just want the awesome discount! And, team members are welcome to come to my club dates for free! Call me so we can chat!

I will look to post my downline samples this weekend.
